Hastings Public School celebrates NAIDOC Week

Hastings Public School celebrated NAIDOC Week throughout Week 10 of Term 2. The celebrations included an assembly, singing, making artworks, a guest speaker, dancing and Aboriginal games.

Jamie Donovan was a guest speaker and shared his personal stories with the students. He did the Acknowledgement of Country in Gathang language. The students enjoyed hearing the local Birpai language. Our Years 5 and 6 students led the assembly, strengthening their leadership skills. They did a fabulous job!
